Enrich your life,
Increase your value

The materials used for your project are as important for the long-term integrity
and stability of your hardscape or landscape as is the way they are installed!
At Boulder Hills Landscaping we place your immediate and long-term satisfaction to be our paramount objective and thus the materials used to ensure the stability and integrity of your hardscape or softscape will not be compromised!
From the materials that you don’t see, (like) proper drainage aggregates, proper base aggregates, geotextiles, soil-separating materials and weed barrier, to the materials that you do see, (like) landscape edging, retaining wall block, interlocking pavers and stone; Boulder Hills will only use the best, certified, commercial-grade materials when constructing your hardscape or landscape project!
This is our promise to you and an area that we will not be flexible on.
Did you know that proper drainage and compaction of the materials underneath your patio or behind your
retaining wall are just as important as proper surface drainage?
Ensuring that your sub-base is permeable, naturally or by amendment, is the first step in preparation for installation. Applying geotextile material to separate your sub-base material from the base aggregates to be installed is critical to guarantee that the base aggregates will not settle or migrate into the sub-base and thus cause settling of your system. And of course, the use of proper drainage aggregates and adequate compaction of those aggregates is the do-or-die step necessary to ensure
the long-term stability of your system.
Hiring a Certified Expert in Hardscape Construction who understands drainage and compaction requirements, sub-base and base material requirements and how to stabilize the foundation of your hardscape and appropriate drainage is the most critical element when choosing a Hardscape Contractor.
Rest-assured, Boulder Hills Landscaping employs Nationally Certified Hardscape Installers,
uses only materials directed by the institutes that provide those certifications and follows the step-by-step installation guidelines to-the-T, when constructing your interlocking paver patio or segmented retaining wall systems.
